7 Easy Breakfast Recipes - Healthy Breakfast in Less Than 5 Minutes

!±8± 7 Easy Breakfast Recipes - Healthy Breakfast in Less Than 5 Minutes

A healthy breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but many of us skip it because of time constraints. Well, now there's no more excuses!

There are several easy breakfast recipes that you can throw together in less time than it takes you to find your keys.

Did you know that numerous studies have found that people who eat breakfast are often slimmer than those who don't? One of the main reasons is this: When you sleep, you're obviously not eating for about 8 hours (unless you have some serious sleepwalking cravings). Your body is in a fasted state, so everything slows down. But, the sooner you eat upon waking, the sooner your metabolism is kicked back into gear for the day.

However, if you skip breakfast, then your metabolism is at a near standstill for all the hours you were asleep, plus the additional hours before your first meal. This is exactly the time when fat settles in and unpacks its bags (and rolls).

And to those who already eat breakfast everyday and are patting themselves on the back, you're not out of the woods yet! Even the most devoted breakfast eater has room for improvement, because a healthy breakfast is the key to weight loss, improved health, and prolonged energy.

Sure, Pop Tarts and bagels will get your metabolism going, but they certainly aren't the healthiest choices. You need a bigger breakfast (around 500 calories) with at least 20 grams of protein to get your body started the right way and keep you satisfied for longer.

OK, this is all getting a bit complicated now, right? How could you possibly have time to make a 500 calorie breakfast with enough protein, vitamins, and minerals to actually do some good?

Bonbonniere and Bomboniere Wedding Favors

!±8± Bonbonniere and Bomboniere Wedding Favors

Human beings are social animals and the wedding ceremony has, since historical times, been an occasion of great celebration and merrymaking among the various cultures. Every wedding ceremony is rooted to the various customs and rituals that are often dictated by their cultures or religion.

Wedding favors refer to the act of gifting the guests with beautiful souvenirs for their participation in the wedding ceremony and reception. They are handed over to guests the newlywed couple themselves. The popularity of wedding favors has led to the formation of a separate wedding favors industry where required articles are sold, day and night, and are beautifully designed and packaged.

The earliest specimen of distribution of wedding favors comes from the European aristocrats. This form of wedding favors were known as the 'bonbonniere'. The term 'bonbonniere' referred to tiny boxes made of porcelain or crystal and decorated quite richly. These boxes usually contained sugar cubes. The inclusion of sugar cubes have significance.

In the early times, sugar was an expensive commodity and therefore the incorporation of sugar stood for the prosperity and affluence of the aristocrats. With the progress of time, sugar was no longer a high priced commodity and instead, almonds were included within these boxes. It is necessary to remember in this case that the color of the sugar coated almonds used as favors in the wedding ceremony should be white. In fact, precisely, the bonbonniere contains a total of five almonds. This is because each had a special significance. Each stood for certain symbols. They represented joy, health, wealth, fertility and long life. Obviously, by gifting these favors to the wedding guests, the couple also achieved their blessings and ensured that they would have a happy and prosperous life together.

In Italy, there is also a newer innovation of the bonbonniere which is used often today. These are called favor cakes or Torta Bomboniera. These are available in innumerable designs and are beautiful to look at and are constructed with the help of small carton boxes which are filled with almonds and the necessary wedding details and information regarding the wedding ceremony.

IXTAPA ZIHUATANEJO, MEXICO WEDDING CAKES AND CUPCAKES

IXTAPA- ZIHUATANEJO AND TRONCONES, MEXICO WEDDING CAKES AND CUPCAKES THE WEDDING CAKE Cutting the wedding cake is now part of the ritual celebrations at the reception. The couple make the first cut together to symbolise their shared future. Cakes have been associated with weddings throughout history. The Romans shared a cake during the wedding ceremony itself. This was not the rich fruit-cake we enjoy today. It was a plain confection made from wheat flour, salt and water. The Fijians and Some Native American tribes still incorporate cake in the wedding ceremonies. In Britain early cakes were flat and round and contained fruit and nuts which symbolise fertility. In the past the custom was to throw many small cakes over the bride in a similar way in which we throw confetti today. A modification of this custom was to crumble cake over the brides head and in some versions to break the cake over the Bride's head. In Scotland Oat Cakes were used for this purpose. This was done to promote fertility. In Yorkshire a plate holding wedding cake was thrown out of the window as the bride returned to her parental home after the wedding. If the plate broke she would enjoy a happy future with her husband but if the plate remained intact her future would be grim. Another old English custom was to place a ring in the wedding cake. The guest who found the ring in their the piece of cake would be ensured happiness for the next year. The shape of the modern three tiered iced cake is believed ...
